Responsibilities
Provide high-level design documents and translate them into component-level designs to accelerate the development of flexible, reusable components
Act as the primary liaison between application architects and development teams to ensure seamless coordination during product implementation
Assist in technical research and evaluate tools and methodologies to ensure designs adhere to industry, client, and company standards
Develop comprehensive technical documentation and oversee test-plan development, integration, and deployment phases
Participate in joint applications development (JAD) sessions and project meetings to communicate design decisions across departmental personnel
Provide leadership and work guidance to less experienced developers, ensuring all application designs meet strict specifications
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business, or a related field (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
3+ years of experience in product design and support, with a strong background in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and various development methodologies
Proven experience with product systems design principles, appropriate programming languages, operating systems, hardware, and software
Familiarity with company application development policies, procedures, and industry-standard coding documentation
Strong problem-solving and creative thinking skills applicable across multiple product suites
Ability to effectively translate complex technical requirements for developers, customers, support personnel, and management
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and switch between priorities quickly in a fast-paced environment
Ability to thrive both when working independently and as a proactive member of a cross-functional team
Candidates must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder
