Responsibilities

Maintains responsibility for a set of projects developed by Celestica’s Global Design Services organization
Provides direction for source selection and ensures proper process implementation
Leads the Commodity Management teams to ensure negotiations meet business requirements and growth plans
Leads the supply chain management process for customers from materials pricing and BOM analysis to delivery execution and flexibility performance
Quotes and negotiates critical high dollar or strategic commodities or provides the direction to team of commodity managers
Provides leadership in the analysis of costed customer bids or quarterly BOM Costing exercises for global customers
Works with Global Design team to optimize Design for supply chain performance of Celestica products
Provides direction to Commodity Management Teams on contract negotiations
Supports quarterly business reviews with customers, and with senior management at key/strategic suppliers
Provides leadership and direction with respect to interaction with suppliers
Leads process development and development of commodity strategies

Acts independently to determine new methods and procedures
Builds cross-functional relationships where persuasive skills, negotiation skills, and considerable tact are required to gain support
Interfaces with senior managers on issues related to the area of expertise
Maintains positive relationships with key customers, suppliers, etc., who have a significant impact on the success of the organization
May represent the organization in public speaking venues and/or community events

Expert problem solving skills to deal with Customer/ Supplier issues
Ability to evaluate, prioritize and problem solve a variety of tasks to ensure their timely and accurate completion
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a wide variety of internal and external customers
Demonstrated ability to work effectively across functions and with suppliers/ customers to achieve Celestica's goals
