ASSA ABLOY Group is a global leader in access solutions, and they are seeking a detail-oriented Stockroom Receiving Clerk to join their Medeco Security Locks business unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, and recording shipments, ensuring inventory accuracy and organization within the stockroom.

Responsibilities

Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, quantity, and quality

Verify the contents of shipments against purchase orders and packing lists

Record and update inventory levels in the JD Edwards system

Organize and store received items in designated stockroom locations

Maintain a clean and organized stockroom environment

Work with purchasing as needed regarding discrepancies or issues with shipments

Assist with periodic inventory audits and cycle counts

Load and unload trucks

Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials and supplies

Required

High school diploma or equivalent (required)

Previous experience with inventory control techniques in a stockroom or warehouse environment

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to lift and move heavy items up to 50 pounds

Ability to operate forklift and other powered lifts

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Self-motivated with minimal supervision

Preferred

Proficiency in using inventory management software (JD Edwards preferred)
