Responsibilities
Prepare, review, and coordinate SEC filings, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and proxy statements
Support the preparation of external financial statements and related disclosures in accordance with U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations
Manage SEC reporting timelines and ensure compliance with filing deadlines
Prepare and review footnotes, MD&A support schedules, and disclosure checklists
Serve as a key liaison with external auditors, legal counsel, and internal stakeholders
Support quarterly reviews and annual audits for public company reporting
Research and apply technical accounting and SEC reporting guidance; prepare memos as needed
Assist with implementation of new accounting standards and disclosure requirements
Maintain and enhance SOX controls related to financial reporting
Participate in process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in reporting
Support ad hoc reporting, special projects, and transaction-related disclosures as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
3–6+ years of experience, preferably from Big 4 or large public accounting firm, serving large public company clients
Alternatively, experience in SEC reporting within a public company environment
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
Hands-on experience preparing or reviewing 10-Ks, 10-Qs, and related disclosures
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
Proficiency in Excel
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
CPA preferred (active or in progress)
Experience with Workiva or other SEC reporting tools is a plus
