Mid LevelMarketScale is focused on building a next-generation video editing team centered on innovation and technical experimentation. The Video Editor will engage in high-volume editing while also exploring AI-powered tools and new workflows to enhance the editing process.

Responsibilities
Edit high volumes of short-form and long-form video with exceptional speed and quality
Create mobile-first, platform-native content (TikTok, Shorts, Reels, etc.) alongside traditional formats
Pull raw footage directly from internal servers and optimize workflows around large media files
Experiment aggressively with:
AI-powered editing tools
Automation, scripting, and templates
LLMs, prompt-based workflows, and machine-learning-assisted editing
Build, test, and document new editing systems that improve:
Velocity
Quality
Scalability
Cost efficiency
Present new tools, techniques, and workflows to the broader editing organization
Help set new norms for how editing is done company-wide
Absorb a significant volume of edits currently handled externally, helping convert variable costs into a high-performance internal team
Travel occasionally to:
Industry events
Local meetups
Technology conferences
Innovation-focused gatherings
Qualification
Required
