Responsibilities
Provide munitions production oversight support to a U.S. Navy weapon systems program office
Advise the Program Manager on complex munitions manufacturing operations, with specific emphasis on production line expansion, capacity optimization, and supply chain performance
Conduct independent assessments of prime contractor manufacturing processes
Evaluate production scalability and risk
Provide data-driven recommendations to improve manufacturing efficiency and resilience
Interact frequently with senior government leadership, prime contractors, and external stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical discipline
Minimum of 12 years of experience supporting large-scale industrial manufacturing operations
Demonstrated experience in munitions production or similarly complex manufacturing environments
Expertise in production capability optimization, capacity analysis, and manufacturing process assessment
Strong background in supply chain management and industrial production operations
Proven ability to communicate effectively with senior government leadership and external organizations
Experience interfacing with and overseeing prime contractors
High proficiency with MS Office products, including MS Project
Ability to support on-site work in Arlington, VA, with periodic travel to manufacturing facilities
Clearance: Top Secret required
Preferred
Master's degree in Business, Engineering, or Operations Analysis
20 or more years of experience in industrial manufacturing and production environments
Direct experience in Industrial Engineering or Systems Engineering roles
Knowledge of the DoD acquisition lifecycle and program office operations
Prior experience supporting Navy or DoD weapon systems programs
