BL Companies has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join their Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) Engineering team. The role involves leading a group of engineers and designers in the successful delivery of multi-discipline projects, focusing on resource management, personnel development, and client care.

Responsibilities

Execution of MEP based projects to BL’s expectations for quality, schedule, and profitability

Plan, coordinate, communicate, and facilitate the completion of tasks across multiple disciplines on projects of all sizes from conception through completion

Coordination with external clients and subconsultants

Participate in business development and proposal process as well as contract negotiations

Monitor and report to department manager the status of projects, budgets, and work backlog

Manage a team of multiple staff including designers and/or engineers, providing mentorship and ensuring billable targets are met

Recruit, develop and retain staff in support of the company's strategic growth plan
