Responsibilities
Performs routine maintenance and repairs of county vehicles and equipment
Assist shop mechanics in day-to-day duties
Washes exterior and interior of county vehicles
Transports vehicles to and from different locations for servicing
Performs other duties of a similar or comparable level
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED
Ability to work in shop environment around cars, trucks and heavy equipment
Ability to work from 7 AM to 3:30 PM Monday through Friday. There may be times when the work shift may change due to special projects/needs
A Valid Minnesota Driver's License
Preferred
Have you previously worked for Carver County Public Works?
Have you worked for any Public Works department? (City, County, State)
Do you have experience repairing light duty vehicles?
Do you have experience operating heavy equipment?
