Responsibilities
Monitoring employees for compliance with regulations and operating practices
Initiating action for non-compliance in a consistent and fair manner
Managing employees and train operations to optimize On-Time Performance (OTP) and making recommendations to improve performance
Responding to service disruptions within your area of responsibility
Enforcing safety plans and maintaining a thorough understanding of operating, PTC, and safety rules
Providing comprehensive written and oral reports
Qualification
Required
Monitoring employees for compliance with regulations and operating practices

Preferred
Degree in Transportation, Business or related field or equivalent work experience
Experience or understanding of supervisory roles within an FRA regulated railroad environment
Knowledge of FRA Regulations on Operating rules GCOR, Timetable and Special Instructions
Familiarity with the physical layout and operation of the Authority's rail system
Locomotive Engineer Certification
