Flood and Peterson is seeking an Associate Account Manager to join their Small Business team. The role involves supporting Risk Advisors and Account Managers in delivering excellent client service, managing policy tasks, and assisting with renewals and claims.

Responsibilities

Perform servicing tasks like certificates, endorsements, invoicing, and renewals to keep accounts accurate and clients satisfied

Manage renewals end-to-end, including preparing and organizing data, completing applications (including specialty applications), following up with underwriters for quotes, reviewing quotes, and preparing proposals

Assist with exposure analysis, gather loss runs, and organize documents for renewals and audits

Understand policy terms and carrier requirements, complete applications correctly, and maintain accurate data in systems

Provide clear, professional support to clients and underwriters, including premium collection and inquiries

Prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines effectively while following company procedures

Collaborate with colleagues and use agency management systems and insurance software confidently

Required

One year certificate from college or technical school; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Actively pursuing industry designation of CISR or equivalent

Possess and maintain a Colorado multiple lines license

Requires a valid Colorado driver's license and an acceptable MVR

Knowledge of commercial insurance lines and risk management principles

Demonstrated ability to maintain data integrity in agency management systems

Proven ability to manage multiple renewals simultaneously, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks
