Sr. Client Service Specialist, Surety - Insurance Advisory Solutions, West

Responsibilities
Maintain and manage a portfolio of surety accounts, ensuring client satisfaction
Analyze client businesses and assess their surety bonding needs
Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, underwriters, and other stakeholders
Coordinate with underwriters and clients to facilitate the issuance, renewal, and modification of surety bonds
Assist clients in securing the suitable surety bonds and ensuring they fully understand the bond's terms and conditions
Ensure all client queries are promptly addressed, providing excellent client service
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation
Keep abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes that could impact surety products
Collaborate with sales teams to identify opportunities for new business
Assist in the resolution of any surety claim issues and participate in the recovery process, if needed
Prepares premium allocations
Prepares and updates draft renewal proposals
Prepares documents for presenting risks to market
Prepares applications, summaries of insurance, and other coverage related documents
Assists client service teams in the preparation of presentation materials
Analyzes and summarizes complex data and compiles reports without supervision
Records data into appropriate insurance company and firm software programs
Processes complex audits and complete audit worksheets
Reviews contract requirements for complex cert requests
Reviews quotes in depth
Quotes flood and builder's risks policies as requested by an Account Manager
Handles processed based quoting for assigned book i.e. NFIP, bonds, small builder's risk
Handles the renewing of bonds and flood policies
Identifies and follow up on binding subjectivities
Trains and mentors other Analysts
Completes special projects as assigned
Looks for opportunities to improve the firm, business segment and processes
Brings issues and discrepancies to the attention of appropriate leadership
Qualification
Required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks, demonstrating superb organizational skills
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field
At least 4 years of experience in the surety or insurance industry, preferably in an account management role
Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Ability to learn any firm-related software quickly and efficiently
Maintain insurance license as required by the State, or ability to obtain license within first 90 days of employment
