Responsibilities

This internship provides excellent professional experience for students who are seeking or pursuing electrical careers. As an intern in this role, you'll have an opportunity to regularly assists journeyman electricians in performing duties common to the trade such as: cutting, bending and installing conduit and pulling wire; installing light fixtures and receptacles; and installing computer cable, hooking up office equipment and drilling and mounting supports for electrical equipment
While receiving direction from senior employees, you will work from building plans, blueprints, wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, and electrical maintenance and repair manuals

Required

You must be a current student who meets the following requirements: Applications will be accepted from students who are at least sixteen (16) years of age by June 30, 2026, AND currently attending a high school, college or university
All students MUST be U.S. Citizens or a person who is lawfully admitted for permanent residence and is seeking citizenship as outlined in 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)(B)
You must be able to pass a drug test
Your resume and question responses must demonstrate the job-related KSAs
Participation in the Summer Intern Employment Program is limited to a total of three years. Candidates are eligible to participate no more than three years, collectively or consecutively, in the Summer Intern Employment Program
