Responsibilities

Develop Technical Requirements Documents (TRDs), Interface Control Documents (ICDs), technical assessments, verification plans, and digital mission and system models for satellite systems and payloads

Research new requirements, technologies, and threats, and use innovative engineering methodologies and tools to create solutions

Required

5+ years of experience performing systems engineering or integration

Experience in requirements and interface management, including development, decomposition, and traceability

Experience performing systems engineering for satellite systems

Experience navigating Configuration Control Boards (CCBs), preparing technical artifacts and presentations, and leading Working Groups (WGs) and Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs)

Experience using management tools such as DOORS, Cameo, or Jama

Experience using Confluence and Jira

Knowledge of the Verification and Validation (V&V) lifecycle

Secret clearance

Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field

Preferred

Experience in the Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR), defense weather, and tactical ISR mission areas

Experience with OPIR payloads, space-based weather payloads, satellite busses, and satellite subsystems, including propulsion, thermal control, power, attitude control, TT&C, communications, data processing, and structures

Experience leading a team performing systems engineering, integration, and testing on space-based remote sensing systems

Experience leading a team using a Model-Based Systems Engineering approach to manage system definitions and technical baselines

Experience with digital engineering and model-based systems engineering

TS/SCI clearance
