Take over major parts of the codebase
Help maintain technical velocity as we scale
Work closely with the founders
Act as a high-trust reviewer
Raise the bar for engineering quality and speed
Shape architectural decisions
Mentor teammates
Qualification
Required
You have hands-on experience building features / leading projects from scratch
You have a deep understanding of systems and infrastructure
You have experience with JS frameworks and full-stack web apps
You've been in fast-paced startup environments
You're good at (1) learning things quickly and (2) getting things done
You've shown excellence: be it in your education, work experiences, projects, or anything else you can share
You're good at communication and enjoy working in person
Preferred
You were / want to be a founder
You have experience with large-scale data pipelines or search clusters
