Responsibilities

Design mechanical structures and hardware using 3D CAD modeling tools

Create mechanical drawings and manage drawing lifecycle using data management software

Assist with engineering test efforts

Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure robust engineering design

Required

Active Top Secret clearance

Experience with PTC Creo, or similar 3D CAD modeling software (e.g. Solidworks or NX)

Experience creating, releasing, and/or managing mechanical drawing releases and revisions

Familiar with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)

Preferred

Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Experience with additive manufacturing and/or 3D printing

Experience with mechanical engineering testing

Familiar with PTC Windchill

Familiar with aerospace industry specifications (ASME, ASTM, SAE, etc.)

Understanding of design for manufacturing (DFM) principles
