Responsibilities

Create accurate 3D models and linked 2D drawings per company standards

Evaluate 2D prints and, when necessary, update the information into a 3D parametric model

Assist with enterprise data retrieval within the company’s ERP

Facilitate the approval process of engineering controlled documents by supplying 2D prints & 3D model art to product engineers when requested

Review engineering controlled documents for correct formatting and procedural adherence; when necessary, modify and communicate the changes needed to correct the documents

Utilize Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) standards in design, product development & drafting

Lead cost-saving initiatives and continuous improvement projects surrounding mold design and efficiency

Assist in development of Molding Design Standards

Work independently and collaboratively on multiple projects
