Mergers and Acquisitions Analyst
Wenham Carter is an advisory firm expanding its energy and power infrastructure practice, seeking an M&A Analyst to join at a pivotal stage. This role offers early exposure to a growing platform with strong deal flow, combining M&A advisory, project finance, and renewable energy expertise in an entrepreneurial environment.
Responsibilities
Support advisory mandates across power infrastructure M&A and renewable energy project finance
Build and maintain financial models, including project finance, valuation, and transaction models
Prepare client presentations, pitch decks, and transaction materials
Assist with deal execution, due diligence, and financial analysis
Proactively contribute to the build-out of a new business vertical
Qualification
Required
1–2 years of experience in Investment Banking
1–2 years of experience in Private Equity
1–2 years of experience in Project Finance
1–2 years of experience in Energy or Infrastructure Finance
1–2 years of experience in Power or Renewables-focused M&A
Strong financial modeling skills, particularly project finance models
Direct experience with tax equity structures
Understanding of the power, renewables, and energy infrastructure markets
Ability to independently create presentations and anticipate project needs
Entrepreneurial mindset with comfort operating in a startup-style culture
