Responsibilities

Applies knowledge of geology/hydrogeology when reviewing supporting documentation submitted with water use permit applications
Verifies Permittees are in compliance with conditions on water use permits
Uses computer software to analyze and interpret hydrologic data from well logs, test data, file of record database information
Assesses groundwater and or surface water movement to ensure reasonable assurance criteria are satisfied prior to WUP issuance
Communicates scientific and technical information in various formats including graphs and charts
Answers questions and provide technical assistance internally and members of the public when appropriate

Required

Bachelors in Hydrology or Geology for Hydrogeologist 1
Bachelors in Hydrology or Geology for Hydrogeologist 2
Bachelors in Hydrology or Geology for Hydrogeologist 3
0 years of experience for Hydrogeologist 1
2 years of experience for Hydrogeologist 2
4 years of experience for Hydrogeologist 3
PG/PE certification for Hydrogeologist 3
Valid Drivers License required for all positions

Preferred

Environmental science related experience
Wetlands knowledge or background that is supported by education and/or work experience
