Mid LevelEngine by Starling is transforming the banking landscape with their cutting-edge core banking software. They are looking for an early hire within the North America Business Development team to develop and execute GTM strategies, support client interactions, and contribute to building business development capability as they scale in the US market.

Responsibilities
Developing and executing GTM strategies for North America
Executing across the E2E sales cycle including outbound lead generation
Supporting early stage conversations, running client workshops and demos, helping to identify and qualify opportunities
Contributing to marketing activities and conferences, elevating the awareness and understanding of Engine’s brand and proposition in the market Build and maintain strong relationships with our consulting and network partners, driving collaborative business development and GTM strategies
Supporting commercial and contractual conversations
Working with Engine teams (delivery, product engineering) throughout the sales lifecycle
Contribute to building GTM and Business Development capability in North America and globally as we scale and mature
Qualification
Required
Experience in business development or sales, preferably in the SaaS or financial technology sector
Strong understanding of go-to-market (GTM) strategies and execution
Ability to manage the end-to-end sales cycle, including lead generation and client engagement
Experience in conducting client workshops and product demonstrations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including leadership, product, delivery, and compliance
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
Willingness to travel within the US and internationally as required
Located within a commutable distance to the New York office or other East Coast locations
