Strategic HVAC Growth & Service Director
Blue Signal Search is an executive search firm specializing in various specialties, and they are seeking a Strategic HVAC Growth & Service Director to lead expansion in commercial HVAC service operations. This role involves spearheading growth initiatives, managing customer relationships, and overseeing manpower planning to ensure optimal service delivery.
Responsibilities
Spearhead growth initiatives across commercial HVAC and refrigeration verticals
Own end-to-end customer relationships from initial pursuit through service delivery
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to scope jobs, develop pricing strategies, and manage subcontractor relationships
Oversee manpower planning, integrating both internal technicians and external partners to ensure optimal job execution
Monitor service performance metrics including job costing, margins, and operational KPIs
Partner with senior leadership on go-to-market strategies and regional expansion efforts
Qualification
Required
Proven background in commercial HVAC or refrigeration service operations
Demonstrated success in both business development and operational leadership
Deep understanding of service economics and execution workflows
Experience managing or directly influencing a revenue stream or operational P&L
Preferred
Strong network of subcontractor and labor resources across Florida or the Southeast
Portfolio experience in sectors such as restaurant, retail, or healthcare facilities
Builder mindset, focused on long-term growth and team development rather than title alone
