Senior Analyst, Specialty Compliance and Ethics

Walmart Inc. is seeking a Senior Analyst for their Financial Services Compliance team to analyze transactions for covered goods. The role focuses on identifying suspicious activities related to money laundering and fraud, while supporting investigators in compliance efforts.

Responsibilities

Conduct transaction analysis in a fast-paced production environment with set daily/monthly expectations
Utilize supplementary applications to support alert dispositioning
Maintain high quality work with set weekly/monthly expectations
Spot, mitigate and escalate risk to the leadership team
Review purchase activity that requires analytical thinking
After analysis, escalate activity for further investigation, and potential subsequent regulatory reporting
Support the organization through participation in projects
Participate in continuing education and training to increase knowledge of industry changes and developments

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field OR 2 years' experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area
Experience analyzing money services and/or prepaid activity and/or Walmart.com or SamsClub.com transactions to identify potential suspicious activity, such as money laundering or fraud
Experience working in the dotcom fraud monitoring space
Ability to use dotcom platforms, such as Accertify and Walmart Customer Care Applications (preferred)
A drive to execute and to act quickly
Experience working in cross-functional teams within a corporate environment
Excel and data analysis experience
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
High degree of initiative and deadline-driven productivity
