Responsibilities
Design and develop parts, assemblies, and systems for high-current power converters
Work on structural assemblies, high-current bus bars, connections, routing, thermal management, and environmental packaging
Use CAD tools for 3D modeling and 2D drafting; support analysis with FEA, CFD, and thermal simulations
Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to bring designs from concept to volume manufacturing
Engage in hands-on prototyping, testing, and validation of designs
Qualification
Required
Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering
6+ years experience
Proficient in 3D modeling and 2D drafting using commercial CAD software
Strong knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes: machining, sheet metal forming, welding, 3D printing, molding, casting, etc
Proven experience taking designs from concept to volume manufacturing
Basic understanding of high-voltage and electrical principles
Preferred
Familiarity with FEA, CFD, thermal analysis, and Ansys (a plus)
