Customer Service Gate Agent (Full-Time)
Piedmont Airlines is seeking a motivated, reliable professional to join their team as a Customer Service Gate Agent in the Ground Handling Department. The primary responsibility of the position is assisting passengers with boarding the aircraft and providing excellent customer service.
Air Transportation
Responsibilities
Assist passengers in boarding and disembarking flights
Monitor computerized passenger boarding
Assist customers with special needs, including arranging for wheelchairs and unaccompanied minors
Change customer flight itinerary and seat assignments as required
Operate the Jetway
Work as a team to provide excellent customer service and meet corporate objectives
Qualification
Required
Successful completion of training course
Ability to meet company goals and customer expectations in a high energy environment
Effective communication skills
Ability to organize, prioritize, and multitask
Lift seventy (70) pounds
Work all shifts
Valid driver's license and clear driving record
10-year Criminal History Records Check
Drug screen as required
Proof of high school or GED completion
Minimum 18 years of age
Preferred
Previous airline experience
Previous employment as a front-line customer service provider
Basic knowledge of computer applications and programs
