Responsibilities
Define and articulate a multi-year security strategy that aligns with business goals
Present the security vision, progress, and risk posture to the Board of Directors and executive leadership
Lead, mentor, and grow a diverse and high-performing team of security professionals
Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement
Establish and maintain a robust GRC framework
Drive compliance with global security standards, certifications (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001), and regulatory requirements
Partner with engineering and product teams to integrate security into the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC) from the ground up, ensuring our products are secure by default
Stay ahead of the evolving threat landscape
Develop and lead a world-class incident response program, ensuring we can detect, respond to, and recover from security incidents with speed and effectiveness
Act as the primary internal and external evangelist for Aspect's security program, building a strong security culture and communicating our commitment to customers and partners
Qualification
Required
15+ years of experience in information security, with at least 8+ years in a senior leadership role (e.g., Director, VP, CISO) managing large, multi-disciplinary teams
Proven track record of developing and implementing a security strategy that directly enables business growth and innovation
Ability to translate complex technical risks into clear business terms for executive leaders
Deep technical background and a strong understanding of security principles across various domains, including application, cloud, and corporate security
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships
Ability to engage with engineers, legal counsel, and the C-suite with equal effectiveness
Strong ability to manage high-pressure situations with calm and clarity
Preferred
Experience as a public-facing security leader or speaker
Experience with a global, at-scale technology company
Extensive experience with cloud security frameworks (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)
Relevant professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar
