Responsibilities
Lead the preparation of detailed cost estimates for large-scale heavy civil projects
Analyze project plans and specifications to determine scope, costs, and labor requirements
Collaborate with project managers and executives to assess project feasibility
Conduct risk assessments and identify cost-saving opportunities
Review and validate subcontractor bids and pricing
Oversee the preparation of bid proposals and cost reports
Mentor junior estimators and assist in developing estimating strategies
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in estimating within the heavy civil construction industry
Expertise in cost estimating for projects such as bridges, highways, and utilities
Strong understanding of project specifications, labor, materials, and equipment costs
Exceptional communication and leadership skills
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
