Responsibilities

Leading the technical architecture for multi-source intelligence integration and digital twin technology

Designing scalable, real-time command and control architectures for national security missions

Architecting AI-driven threat detection and autonomous response systems

Ensuring complete data sovereignty and human-in-the-loop oversight capabilities

Defining implementation strategies for diverse deployment scenarios including sovereign and multi-nation collaborations

Serving as the primary technical authority on advanced cloud security, edge computing, and AI/ML integration for defense applications

Collaborating directly with military stakeholders, intelligence community leaders, and international partners to translate the most critical operational requirements into innovative technical solutions

Leading cross-functional teams of architects, engineers, and data scientists while establishing AWS as the essential partner in national security infrastructure with capabilities no other cloud provider can match

Required

6+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience

3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience

6+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience

Associate's degree or above, or CASP+ (CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner) or CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional) or Cloud+ or CSSLP (Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional)

Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above

Preferred

5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience

Knowledge of SAP systems (like SAP Business Suite, S/4HANA, SAP Business Warehouse, SAP HANA, SAP Business Objects, etc.) and their architecture and infrastructure needs

Experience working with end user or developer communities
