Responsibilities
Establish a deep understanding of needs of sellers, creators, and operations by conducting research as needed to drive product launches and iterations, and responsible for product penetration, satisfaction, and business growth
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure our products remain innovative and ensuring a deep knowledge of the US localization and mindset
Issue identification and resolution, recommending and driving forward product optimizations to help improve and shape the future of TikTok's eCommerce products
Collaborate and often lead discussions with cross-functional teams, including Account Managers, Product Management, Operations, Design, Data Science, and Engineering, to shape the product strategy, roadmap, and adoption
Participate in the product development lifecycle, review various artifacts to ensure quality and clarity, and run and/or participate in user acceptance testing/beta to ensure product quality and optimal user experience prior to fullscale product launch
Plan and execute go-to-market activities, including product documentation, internal stakeholders training, target audience activation plans, and operational support tools
Monitor key product performance metrics, conduct gap analysis, and identify issues and optimizations to drive product improvement plans
Qualification
Required
Proven experience and track record in influencing product development and strategy using quantitative and qualitative market insights
Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration skills, comfortable navigating global organizational structures and aligning objectives across multiple teams
Strong analytical skills and a bias for action, comfortable with setting ambitious targets, analyzing the status quo, planning a course of action, executing rapid trial and error iterations, and constantly improving
A Bachelor's degree is required (related fields preferred: Marketing, Communications, or any similar field)
A deep passion for content and shopping
Preferred
5+ years of experience in product marketing in the internet and E-commerce industry
3+ years of eCommerce experience
