Responsibilities
Camp Directors will learn effective leadership skills and useful supervisory experience as they lead a team of four camp educators
They will assist full-time staff in planning camp activities and supervise camp field trips
Qualification
Required
Reliable
Able to relate to kids ages 9-13
Some interest in Raleigh's history and cultural offerings
Available to work a minimum of 4 days a week between the hours of 8:00am and 5:30pm
Ability to balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, talk, see, and hear
Exert up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
Required visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned
Ability to work in both inside and outside environmental conditions and noise
Ability to work in extreme heat: Temperature above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour
Ability to work in sufficient noise to cause the worker to shout in order to be heard above the ambient noise level
