The Continuous Improvement Engineer will lead and implement continuous improvement projects utilizing Lean Manufacturing methods to reduce cost and increase efficiency
This position will support manufacturing and lead cross functional teams to support manufacturing in Kaizen events to help increase efficiency in machines, man power, and materials
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in a Lean/Continuous Improvement role in a manufacturing environment
3+ years of experience applying Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to manufacturing
Experience in an ISO 9001 (or similar) quality regulated environment
Experience leading Lean, Kaizen, or SMED events
Experience leading cross functional Continuous Improvement projects
Track record of Continuous Improvement projects leading to cost reduction (Give examples if possible)
Experience with identifying and resolving manufacturing issues including PFMEA and root cause analysis
BS in Engineering or related
Preferred
Six Sigma certification (Green or Black Belt highly desired)
Experience with injection molding manufacturing processes
Experience with statistical process control (SPC) including Minitab
