Trust Manager
NPAworldwide is seeking an experienced Trust Manager to oversee and coach a team of Trust Officers and Trust Associates in trust administration. The role involves ensuring compliance with legal and fiduciary specifications, providing guidance to the team, and managing local trust relationships.

Responsibilities
Directing trust and agency accounts in compliance with legal and fiduciary specifications and in coordination with external investment advisory teams
Monitor and construct recommendations regarding suitable staffing for the local office, and safeguard account loads and obligations are appropriate for each Trust Officer
Lead, train, and guide team Trust Officers. The Trust Manager serves as a resource for Trust Officers, providing backing in problem-solving and solving client demands and disputes that may possibly develop during regular local account administration
Aids the CTO in effecting organizational decisions influencing the team and office
Continue developing technical expertise in trust administration via self-learning, achieving continuing education requirements, attending webinars, etc
Identify training requirements and conduct applicable training as necessary. This training will sometimes align with the firm-wide training curriculum being executed by the CTO or other leaders
Conduct annual performance reviews for designated Trust Officers (these will normally be fulfilled by the Trust Manager and presented to the CTO for final approval)
Act as the key resource for team Trust Officers and Trust Associates about PTO authorization, personnel dealings, and other concerns that may occur. The Trust Manager will utilize their judgment to involve the CTO when applicable
Execute a proper rhythm for team meetings to examine administrative and operational affairs
Safeguard compliance with firm policies and procedures within the office and supervises observance to internal and regulatory requirements
Approve and supervise direct reports PTO and guarantee coverage when personnel are out of the office
Qualification
Required
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in a related field
Exceptional communication, relationship management, and leadership proficiencies
Robust expertise of trust administration, fiduciary law, and estate/wealth transfer planning
Deep historic experience managing a portfolio of complicated accounts, often with a high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth client base
Analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a focus on risk management
Capacity to understand complex legal documents and navigate evolving regulations
Preferred
Salesforce proficiency helpful
