Labor And Employment Attorney
Core Talent Services is seeking an experienced Labor & Employment Attorney to advise and represent clients on various workplace law matters. This role involves counseling employers on compliance, handling employment-related disputes, and providing strategic guidance on employee relations, policies, and risk management.

Responsibilities
Advise employers on federal, state, and local employment laws, including: FLSA, FMLA, ADA, ADEA, Title VII
Draft, review, and update: Employee handbooks and workplace policies
Employment agreements, restrictive covenants, and separation agreements
Provide day-to-day counseling on employee relations issues, discipline, terminations, accommodations, and leave matters
Represent employers in employment-related litigation and administrative proceedings, including: EEOC and state agency charges
Wage and hour claims
Discrimination, retaliation, and harassment claims
Manage cases from inception through resolution, including discovery, motion practice, hearings, and settlement negotiations
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Active license to practice law in Alabama
3+ years of labor and employment law experience
Strong knowledge of federal employment statutes and regulations
Excellent legal research, writing, and communication skills
Experience representing employers (management-side)
Litigation experience in state or federal court
Familiarity with multi-state employment issues
Prior law firm or in-house counsel experience
