Responsibilities
Develop and evaluate procedures, controls, user requirements and functional specifications to identify gaps between the current state and future state
Create business requirement documents (BRD’s)
Document and explain problems and work to resolve technical defects while ensuring technical compatibility and end-user satisfaction
Analyze, develop and propose enhancements to current business processes, reports and applications in order to optimize system effectiveness
Assist in conducting customer interviews and producing meeting summaries
Produce high-quality verbal and written consulting deliverables (proposals, customer presentations, consulting reports) to effectively communicate project findings
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst
Experience working for a management and/or technology consulting firm highly desired
Ability to determine business objectives by reviewing business functions, gathering information, and evaluating output requirements and formats
Ability to research, review, and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing requirements-gathering processes and develop strategies for enhancing or further leveraging these processes
Experience working with project stakeholders and project team to prioritize collected requirements
Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
Ability to review data requirements and map to system fields
Ability to monitor and communicate project progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing progress reports, and recommending actions
