Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive test approaches, plans, and scripts for business-critical projects
Execute business scenarios in UAT environments, ensuring alignment with requirements
Collaborate with technology, business partners, project managers, and external vendors to clarify requirements and share testing status
Maintain and update testing artifacts, ensuring documentation accuracy and completeness
Reconcile test results across different tests and stakeholder groups
Identify and incorporate process enhancements to improve efficiency and effectiveness
Partner with UAT Manager/Lead to ensure testing readiness and milestone completion
Facilitate quality testing practices across various products and initiatives
Communicate regularly with stakeholders, providing consistent updates on automation testing status
Assess, create, and build automation tools to drive efficiency and cost reduction
Reconcile automated test results with expected manual outcomes

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
3-5 years of hands-on experience in manual testing, including test plan formulation and execution
Proficiency in JIRA, including process flow understanding and task creation
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Confluence, and qTest tool
Ability to write and execute SQL queries
Working knowledge of Unix operating system
Familiarity with Agile and waterfall software development methodologies
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing executive-level communications
Excellent organizational and project management skills; adept at managing competing priorities under tight deadlines
Proven ability to collaborate and build strong partnerships across teams
Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and ability to learn quickly; high degree of initiative and self-direction

Preferred

Experience with mainframe screens and business rules engines
Understanding of credit card lifecycle and card transaction processing
Exposure to risk processing environments
Knowledge of Large Language Models and their integration with process improvements
Experience in automation testing and tool development
Familiarity with reconciliation of automated and manual test results
Background in supporting business-critical strategies within financial services
