Northrop Grumman is a leading aerospace and defense company, seeking a Sr Principal Systems Administrator – Integration/CDS Engineer to join their team. This role is crucial for supporting the U.S. military in missile defense operations through the implementation and maintenance of Cross Domain Solutions.

Responsibilities
Responsible for developing, controlling configuration, deploying, and testing Radiant Mercury Configuration (including Rules), with a primary focus on Cross Domain Solution (CDS) integration
Assist with integrating JEMINI Lab test suites into our development lab
Supporting software development team members in troubleshooting and resolving issues
Develop configurations to support testing and prototyping of developing systems
Creating and modifying scripts to perform data analysis of input, internal, and output message data
Troubleshooting issues in both tests and prototypes
Create troubleshooting procedures and workaround documents
Review and give feedback on system specs, development, testing, and network documents as needed
Represent the Integration team
Automating scripts to configure and maintain remote hosts
Must be an effective communicator with excellent writing and presentation skills, capable of using Microsoft PowerPoint and Visio drawing tools
Must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment with other highly motivated integration engineers, as well as independently at times on large field projects
Qualification
Required
A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field from an accredited university is preferred, along with 8 years of experience; or a Master's degree in a related field with 6 years of relevant work experience; or 12 years of relevant work experience may be considered as an alternative to a degree
Applicants must hold a current, active in-scope DoD-issued Top Secret security clearance at the time of application, which is required to start
Applicants must hold a current, active DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (such as Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA, etc.) at the time of application, which is required to start. The candidate is responsible for maintaining their DoD 8140 certification throughout the entire contract period
Willing to travel up to 10% for business purposes
Network Management and Monitoring Systems
Understanding of standard DOD security practices, such as STIG compliance and system accreditation efforts
Extensive experience in network traffic analysis, diagnostics, and troubleshooting
Proven experience using Ansible or other automation tools
Preferred
Script experience a plus
Having a Top Secret security clearance with an MDA-based SCI is a plus
Experience with Radiant Mercury strongly preferred
Candidates experienced in planning and supporting network infrastructure deployment are highly desired
Previous C2BMC network experience is also a plus
