Responsibilities
Lead and direct all mining and construction operations
Lead and mentor the team of national management and employees
Work closely with clients to understand their operational goals, provide regular updates on operational status, and address any concerns promptly, ensuring alignment and satisfaction throughout the operational lifecycle
Maintain clear, consistent communication with internal teams, senior management, and stakeholders
Comply with all project quality expectations and ensure QA/QC process
Compile and issue reports to senior management and client
Manage operations and productivity KPIs to ensure we meet/exceed project deliverables
Regularly review and assess team performance, providing guidance and addressing any issues related to productivity, safety and personal conduct
Assist and participate in the continuous improvement programs to ensure the required production efficiency and optimization is achieved
Assist with data analysis to identify inefficiencies and constraints that require continuous improvement initiatives
Thorough understanding of all contracts and obligations
Ensure contractual manpower plans are aligned with operational activities
Accountable for health and safety of all employees in applicable operational areas
Ensure compliance and adherence to safe working practices and procedures, including following Company health and safety
Direct inception and set-up of site-specific safety programs with support from the Health & Safety department
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science in Mine Engineering
Minimum 10 years' experience in a mining environment
Minimum 5 Years' Experience In Mine Management
