Junior Mechanical Engineer
Dynaflo, Inc. is a privately held company specializing in miniature diaphragm pumps for various industries. They are seeking a hands-on Junior Mechanical Engineer to support product development and quality assurance, working closely with design and production teams to ensure high standards of performance and manufacturability.

Responsibilities
Assist with product design and development, including updates, prototype builds, and testing in collaboration with the Principal Design Engineer
Create and maintain CAD models and drawings using Creo Parametric (or similar tools) for components, assemblies, and fixtures
Design and fabricate fixtures, jigs, and test setups to support production and R&D activities
Support product validation and life-cycle testing, analyze test data, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Maintain quality and compliance documentation, including work instructions, inspection procedures, calibration records, and assist with audits
Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, supply chain, and operations to troubleshoot issues and optimize processes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field, with at least 2 years of hands-on engineering experience (preferably in manufacturing or product development)
Proficiency in CAD tools (Creo preferred; SolidWorks or similar acceptable) and experience with engineering documentation, GD&T, and tolerance analysis
Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to work on prototypes, fixtures, and precision components
Familiarity with ISO 9001 or regulated manufacturing environments, plus basic knowledge of measurement systems, test equipment, and calibration
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive, detail-oriented approach and eagerness to learn
Industry experience in small precision equipment, medical devices, or industrial machinery is a plus
Preferred
Solid understanding of mechanical design principles, including designing for tight tolerances and miniature components
Knowledge of fluid dynamics and pump mechanics, including diaphragm pump operation
Hands-on experience with prototypes—building, testing, and troubleshooting design or manufacturing issues
Strong analytical and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams (R&D, Quality, Production)
