Estate Administration Paralegal

The role involves assisting attorneys in the administration of estates, trusts, and guardianships, drafting legal documents, and ensuring quality service to clients under the supervision of an attorney.

Responsibilities
Assist attorneys in the administration of estates, trusts, and guardianships
Draft correspondence and legal documents
Prepare inventories, accountings, and other probate documents
Confer with clients, beneficiaries, insurance companies, financial institutions, public officials, and court administrators
Review tax strategies and prepare various tax returns
Gather information and keep abreast of administrative changes
Qualification
Required
Five to seven years of paralegal experience
Experience in Estate Administration or a combination of accounting or paralegal education and experience
NC Notary Public commission or the ability to obtain same
Strong work ethic

Proficient technology skills, including MS Office Suite and general online research
