Responsibilities
Be a leader in the Foresight PMO org
Drive planning, execution, and operations across AI and LLM product areas
Own all aspects of program structure, execution, and communication, including Product and Program Reviews, sprint planning, sprint demos, code jams, and more
Support our various external partnership programs
Build operational rigor and operational processes to cross-functional teams to ensure sustainable results and delivery against the timelines
Identify core and critical issues to organizational performance and clearly communicate status, progress, and results across the organizational boundaries and levels
Build and maintain relationships inside and outside the organization to ensure strong collaboration, raise the profile of the team and its key initiatives, and capitalize on emerging opportunities
Accelerate the most strategic business outcomes by working collaboratively with VP+ leaders in your space to drive portfolio strategy and align squad resource allocations
Identify when a decision or tradeoff is needed, drive discussions, assess options, and provide principled and data-driven recommendations to stakeholders for final decision
Understand industry trends, Intuit strategy, and how the portfolio fits into the company strategy
Mentor team members. Partner with Team Leader to assess and develop team members
Drive program execution, ensure program deliveries align to operational standards, contribute to the continuous improvement of operational standards
Generate broad executive level support for the program/portfolio
Partner with leadership to create a culture where teams are encouraged to share information, constructively debate and communicate freely
Evangelize change and contribute to the development of a high performing team
Establish mechanisms to maintain a pulse on the organization during change, identifying themes and areas of friction, and work with leadership to develop action plans
Define and implement program/portfolio best practices that are repeatable and embody continuous improvement
Drive areas of improvement across the program and work with stakeholders to enable cross-Intuit acceleration
Drive the development of the program management craft and demonstrate thought leadership within the community
Coach and mentor program managers to grow their skills
Navigate enterprise finance, legal, & privacy program areas with ease, drawing from experience to accelerate outcomes, predict challenges, and prevent failures
Apply your expertise in software development approaches & SDLC methodologies to the portfolio, and help drive operational excellence
Identify and leverage expertise in others to reach solutions
Develop and execute against a high quality plan that is organized into manageable pieces that can be individually owned
Use data to assess outcomes and progress to plan, and use independent judgment to provide insights and communicate to stakeholders
Establish mechanisms for the team to identify risks and issues, and present recommended response plans to stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Strong Technical Program Management leadership experience, including 12+ years planning and leading a strategy and portfolio of programs and/or extremely large & complex digital transformation programs in enterprise finance, legal, or privacy
Demonstrated ability to influence at the VP level and above within a matrixed environment
Experience with driving complex programs with a heavy focus on AI, GenAI or other emerging technologies
Strong technical acumen with expertise in software development approach, emerging technologies, architecture, and lifecycle
Strong understanding of software development approaches, architecture, and lifecycles
Experience with Agile methodologies is highly desired
Demonstrated ability to build strong partnerships across teams in delivering the best program outcomes
Excellent balance of people, organizational, and technical skills, and can execute and deliver successfully in situations where authority is not a given
Experience with high growth, fast moving teams and projects
Learning mindset, curious, bold, self-aware and humble
Preferred
Computer science or other technical education or equivalent work experience
Entrepreneurial mindset and experience; willing and able to challenge the status quo
