Senior Principal Antenna and Microwave Engineer
Raytheon is a leader in defense and aerospace solutions, committed to helping our nation and allies defend freedoms. They are seeking a Senior Principal Antenna and Microwave Engineer to design and test microwave components and systems, while providing technical support to production activities.

Responsibilities
Design of RF microwave components and phased array applications
Integration and test of component level and system level phased array hardware
Some travel to integration sites, plus customer and subcontractor facilities, may be required
Qualification
Required
Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
A minimum of ten years of prior relevant experience to include any combination of the following: Microwave/RF system, subsystem and component analysis, design and test
Experience with electromagnetic simulation tools such as HFSS, ADS, CST, Mentor Graphics' Xpedition and analytical tools such as Matlab
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
DoD Clearance: Secret
Preferred
Background designing and testing analog CCAs, including frequency conversion, automatic gain control, amplifier design and analog filter design
Understanding of allocating and flowing down requirements from the system to the component level
Knowledge of cost estimating, plus budget and schedule management
Strong academic background that includes courses in: Microwave Engineering, Microwave Systems, Electromagnetic Theory and Radar Systems
Strong hands on experience with microwave testing techniques, including using spectrum analyzers, Real-time Spectrum Analyzers (RSAs), Vector Network Analyzers (VNAs) and Performance Network Analyzer (PNAs)
