Marine Sales Manager

Responsibilities

Establish and maintain a strong customer base for marine services: fuel, fleeting, lubricants, groceries, and supplies
Travel to meet with customers and represent EMIS professionally
Take and process customer orders for fuel and lubricants via phone/email
Administer fuel price changes and notify customers accordingly
Assist with customer account management and credit requests in coordination with the corporate office
Monitor daily oil and diesel fuel markets
Obtain and analyze New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) and OPIS spot market pricing
Price fuel for customers across all EMIS locations based on market data
Monitor diesel inventory levels daily to ensure consistent supply and distribution
Manage and monitor bulk lubricant oil inventory using SAP
Review and approve diesel and lube inventory adjustments at month-end
Assist with year-end inventory processes
Create purchase orders and update inventory in SAP as needed
Maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) for EMIS
Invoice fuel, lube, slop oil, and trash services in SAP
Assist management in implementing cost reduction strategies in daily operations
Support management in enforcing EMIS and corporate policies

Required

College degree or equivalent work experience
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in fuel marketing and sales
Active knowledge and understanding of fuel market analysis
Strong independent work ethic and self-motivation
Excellent communication, organizational, and public relations skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (for spreadsheet tracking and reporting)
Working knowledge of SAP for inventory, invoicing, and order management
Familiarity with OPIS, NYMEX, and other fuel pricing tools
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
A clean MVR is required
