Education Management
Responsibilities
Assisting students in navigating the setup of aid to help cover their tuition
Monitoring their progression throughout their program
Guiding students through relevant applications
Recalculating eligibility
Counseling students on how eligibility changes may affect their finances
Keeping sensitive information safe and secure
Showing promptly for scheduled meetings and calls
Successfully implementing new procedures
Fostering an engaged working relationship with institution counterparts
Other duties as required or assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Degree or equivalent
Prior financial aid experience of at least 3 years
A deeper understanding of how financial aid progresses
Ability to quickly reconcile a ledger
Very close attention to detail
The ability to explain more complicated situations in a way that is meaningful for the student
