Responsibilities
Lead significant technology initiatives from inception through successful deployment across multiple architecture layers
Provide production support and participate in the team’s on-call rotation
Build platforms and services that enable application teams to focus on product development
Write clear, detailed technical documentation that conveys architecture and product details for application teams
Provide expert guidance across all architecture levels and mentor other engineers
Participate in and influence domain-wide architectural reviews and decisions
Qualification
Required
5+ years of professional software development experience
Proficiency in PHP and at least one modern programming language (e.g. Java, C++, Go, Python, etc)
Strong understanding of software design principles and patterns
Solid grasp of at least one modern source code management solution (e.g. Git, SVN, CVS, etc)
Interest in CI/CD (continuous integration/continuous delivery) area
