Manager, Early Careers
Universal Orlando Resort is seeking a Manager for Early Careers programs within the UDX portfolio. The role involves overseeing programming and recruitment, driving curriculum strategies, and implementing talent acquisition initiatives to attract and retain top early career talent.

Responsibilities
Design and deliver innovative, scalable curriculum tailored for UDX Early Careers programs, ensuring high-quality learning experiences and continuous improvement
Develop strategies to enhance program effectiveness by implementing process improvements across all curriculum components—addressing technology gaps, optimizing resource management, and documenting workflows to achieve program goals and deliverables
Lead and manage a team of Early Careers Programming Specialists and Recruiters, driving the overall talent acquisition strategy for internships and early career roles
Oversee proactive workforce planning, strategic talent pipelining, and effective resource and relationship management
Champion Early Career program initiatives that create seamless pathways for emerging talent across the UDX enterprise, building a dynamic, future-ready workforce
Build and sustain strategic partnerships with universities, colleges, and professional organizations to strengthen the early talent pipeline
Represent UDX through engaging presentations and networking opportunities with internal stakeholders and external audiences, promoting internship and early career programs to attract top emerging talent
Develop and execute a comprehensive advertising and recruitment strategy for early career and internship programs, positioning UDX as an employer of choice
Oversee recruitment marketing initiatives across digital platforms, media, and community channels, ensuring consistent and engaging messaging
Oversee and manage the UDX Early Careers program budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to maximize program impact
Serve as a strategic liaison between Comcast and NBCUniversal to align early career initiatives, leverage best practices, and identify synergies across corporate entities
Partner closely with HR business partners, program hiring managers, and key stakeholders to design and deliver immersive learning experiences that enhance the early talent journey and support organizational goals
Oversee the development and management of talent acquisition reporting and requisition dashboards, delivering actionable insights to drive data-informed recruitment strategies
Ensure reporting tools are optimized for accuracy, visibility, and alignment with business priorities
Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UDX policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field required
5+ years progressive experience in managing early career programs and university/college recruitment; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Proven ability to develop and execute managing internship, co-op, or graduate programs, including forecasting, pipelining, and internal mobility planning
Strong understanding of campus recruiting strategies and early career talent pipelines
Demonstrated success in building and managing early career recruitment infrastructure, including processes, templates, and scalable toolkits
Strong Interpersonal and relationship-building skills with demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of an organization
Experience in employer branding and campus engagement
Proven ability to inspire and lead high-performing teams through clear vision, strategic guidance, and collaborative leadership
Demonstrated effective problem-solving and decision-making skills
Ability to prioritize activities with the drive, energy and follow-through necessary to achieve results while thriving in a rapid-paced, changing business environment
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work with diverse teams and handle many tasks simultaneously, often with inflexible tight deadlines
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with internal clients and external vendors both verbally and in writing
Tact/diplomacy and confidentiality to handle sensitive information and Team Member interactions
Data-driven mindset with experience using metrics to measure program success
Must be detail oriented and consistently accurate
Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook) required
Preferred
Master's degree preferred
Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus
