Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of QA engineers
Foster a culture of quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback
Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies, processes, and best practices
Ensure that testing processes are aligned with overall project timelines and goals
Oversee the creation and maintenance of test plans, test cases, and test scripts
Work closely with development, product management, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define acceptance criteria
Facilitate communication between QA and other departments to ensure seamless integration and delivery of high-quality software
Continuously evaluate and improve QA processes, tools, and methodologies
Implement and manage automated testing solutions to enhance testing efficiency
Monitor and report on key QA metrics and KPIs to track progress and identify areas for improvement
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and effective testing
Coordinate with product managers to prioritize testing efforts based on project needs and deadlines
Ensure that all testing activities are properly documented and adhere to the standards that are in place
Conduct 1 on 1's weekly with your direct reports to promote growth and eliminate roadblocks
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
10 years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role
Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
Experience with Automation and API testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Postman, GitHub)
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks in a fast-paced environment
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Proven knowledge utilizing AI as a testing tool
