Responsibilities

Operate sonography equipment to produce images of specified areas of the body and performs related technical functions utilizing ultrasound imaging principles

Demonstrate the technical skills necessary to provide outstanding image quality for all abdominal and small parts, OB /Gyn and pediatric ultrasounds

Exhibit knowledge and skills for providing imaging guidance during invasive procedures

Perform imaging in accordance with recommended safe patient practices

Prepare exam rooms, equipment, supplies, and medications

Provide safe patient care and excellent customer service to all patient populations

Possess excellent critical thinking skills along with the ability to work in a high volume and fast paced environment

Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, physicians, and intra- and inter-departmentally situations
