Responsibilities
Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
Support month-end and year-end close, including reconciliations and accrual
Assist with revenue and expense close accounting and financial reporting
Analyze financial data, identify variances, and resolve discrepancies
Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Coordinate with external auditors and respond to audit inquiries
Assist with tax preparation and compliance
Identify process improvement opportunities and support best practices
Collaborate with cross-functional teams
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Senior Accountant experience, ideally in financial services
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
GAAP / regulatory compliance
General Ledger systems (PeopleSoft preferred)
Advanced Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)
Power BI preferred
