Responsibilities
Define and manage Safety Goals and Safety Concepts
Perform HARA (Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment) at vehicle and system level
Define and maintain Safety Requirements (FSR / TSR)
Support safety concept definition and safety mechanism allocation
Ensure compliance with ISO 26262 across the development lifecycle
Manage safety requirements and traceability using MEDINI , Polarion , or DOORS
Support safety reviews, assessments, and audits
Collaborate with system, software, hardware, and validation teams to ensure safety consistency
Support customers and stakeholders during safety-related discussions and milestones
Qualification
Required
3–7+ years of experience in Functional Safety in the automotive domain
Solid knowledge of ISO 26262
Hands-on experience with HARA and safety concept definition
Experience in safety requirement definition and management
Proficiency with MEDINI, Polarion, and/or DOORS
Ability to manage safety traceability and documentation
Strong analytical and system-level thinking
Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer, or Mechatronics Engineering
Preferred
Experience with electrified vehicle systems (HV / LV exposure)
Familiarity with system engineering or MBSE environments
Experience supporting safety audits or assessments
Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
Proactive and structured problem-solving mindset
