Responsibilities
Understanding what slows down our engineers
Inventing tools to help them work better and faster
Designing, implementing, and testing software systems
Teaching users how to get the most out of our custom tools
Holding yourself accountable for customer productivity outcomes
Qualification
Required
Experience in full-stack development of internal productivity tools
Ability to plan, verify, and maintain software systems
Collaboration skills with partners in UX, IT, and product ownership
Focus on delivering customer-centric solutions
Problem-solving skills in innovative ways
Ability to handle tough challenges with urgency
Commitment to making clear promises and exceeding expectations
Comfort with uncertainty and change
Efficient learning when faced with unfamiliar tasks
Ability to create exceptional software tools quickly
Preferred
Experience with electrical engineering and power systems
Experience creating things fast using AI coding assistants
Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages
Experience in database design and administration
Experience in open-source software development
Experience mentoring associate engineers
