Electrician Supervisor-Direct Hire Authority

Selectee may work with hazardous materials such as asbestos or accumulated waste and employee will be required to wear protective clothing and gear on these occasions
Selectee may have to work in strained positions and is subject to lifting heavy parts and fixtures up to 50 pounds and exercise close hand/eye coordination in performing assembly and adjusting tasks
Selectee may be required to work on elevated platforms, such as ladders and scaffolding for extended periods of time
Selectee may require frequent stooping, stretching, bending, kneeling and working in tiring, uncomfortable positions for long periods of time
Selectee may be required to work inside and/or outside and be subject to inclement weather, dust, dirt, grease, fumes, and electrical shock and around equipment emitting loud/hazardous noise
Selectee may be required to use personal protective such as safety glasses, rubber gloves/aprons, hearing protection, steel-toe boots and respirators for extended periods of time
Ability To Do The Work Of The Position Without More Than Normal Supervision
Knowledge of Electrical Equipment
Theory and Instruments (Electrical, Electronic) Used in Shop and Trade Practices
Technical Practices (theoretical, precise, artistic)
Ability To Use Electrical Drawings
Ability to Use and Maintain Hand Tools (Electrical Work)
Trouble shooting (electrical)
Preferred
A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred
Completion of an accredited Electrician Apprenticeship or a related vocational program is highly desirable
