Accounts Receivable M&A Intern

Responsibilities

Assist in the onboarding/offboarding of A/R processes for acquired or divested entities
Support data analysis and reconciliation of receivables during transition periods
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Legal, IT, Treasury) to ensure smooth integration
Help document and standardize A/R processes across entities
Participate in project meetings and contribute to status reporting
Conduct benchmarking and performance tracking of A/R metrics
Assist in preparing presentations and reports for leadership review

Qualification

Financial Systems KnowledgeData Analysis ToolsAccounting PrinciplesReporting & Documentation

Required

Financial Systems Knowledge: AR system of record, EPM, AR Infocenter
Data Analysis Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas)
Accounting Principles: Basic understanding of accounts receivable processes, cash application, and reconciliation
Reporting & Documentation: Ability to prepare clear, concise reports and process documentation
